M/s. Prameshwari Textiles is setting up an Effluent treatment plant to treat 300 m3/day textile effluent water generated from various unit operations in the textile dyeing plant.
Effluent water generated in the textile plant was categorized into,

Wash water
The above plant was designed to achieve BOD & COD lesser than 50 ppm and 100 ppm from 600 ppm and 1200 ppm respectively. According to APHA 21st EDN 2005 methods the BOD , COD and TDS measured as 5210 – B, 5220 – B and 2540 – C respectively.
